Food Money Saving Tips

Treating the Temple at Whole Foods: May 8, 2019 – May 14, 2019

This week at Whole Foods there are a lot of fruits and vegetables on Prime sale. This week doesn’t have the most unprocessed meat options, but there’s still a lot to choose from. The fun bonus for this week is the flowers – just in time for Mother’s Day. I saved about $25 at Whole Foods this week by shopping their Prime sales. To take advantage of these sales, you can try some the recipes below. Let me know in the comments what you think of the recipes or share some recipes you already use.

Strawberry Chia Watermelon Smoothie

Roasted Asparagus

Pan-Seared Strip Steak

Meaty Portobello Chili

Grilled Mediterranean Ahi Tuna

Easy Roasted Lemon Garlic Shrimp

Foods on Prime Sale

  • Note that I’ve excluded heavily processed foods and non-foods. I also haven’t shown the regular sales items. Personally, I think the regular sale items aren’t as impressive as the Prime Sales.
